Construction Project Manager West Point, NY We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects at West Point, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: + Project Planning and Coordination: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met. + Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective use of resources. Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders. + Team Leadership: Lead and manage project teams, including subcontractors and on-site personnel. Provide guidance, support, and direction to ensure project goals are achieved. + Quality Control: Ensure all construction activities comply with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work. + Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Address any issues or delays promptly to keep the project on track. + Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with all project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies. Provide regular updates on project status and address any concerns. + Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports. Ensure all records are accurate and up-to-date. Qualifications: + Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. + Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably with experience in military or government projects. + Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and proficiency in project management software. + Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification is preferred. + Other Requirements: Ability to pass a Department of Defense background check for access to the military installation.
