CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER

SCHEDULE/ENVIRONMENT: This is an in-office role, 5-days a week. Site visits and job meetings will be conducted as necessary.

DESCRIPTION: The Construction Project Manager will have responsibilities both within the company and client facing. The person will be estimating projects of various sizes and types within the industrial, office, education, and healthcare industries. Project sizes range from $10,000 to $20,000,000. This person will largely support the design/build manager by providing estimates for schematic, design development and permit level drawings.

Additional responsibilities include:

Providing accurate budgets for projects in the conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction document levels of project designProvide hard bid, competitive estimating for plan and spec projectsAssist the Service Department with estimates on smaller projects with line-item budgetsProvide value engineering analysisBe able to handle multiple estimates at a timePresent estimates and budgets to customers, providing necessary backup documentation as neededWork with designers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal associates as neededSupervise project closeout documents, including as-built, O&M manuals, and warranty letters

MUST HAVES:

Bachelor's degree (Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred, not required)Experience with RFIs and Change OrdersAbility to run 8-10 projects3+ years of construction project management experienceAbout Actalent
