Construction Project Manager
Job Summary: The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects related to infrastructure within manufacturing plants. This role involves project justification, setup, execution, and handover, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities: + Project Planning and Justification: + Develop and present detailed project proposals and justifications for CAPEX investments. + Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to support project approval. + Project Execution: + Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of infrastructure projects from inception to completion. + Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and finance, to ensure project alignment with business objectives. + Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively. + Onsite Management: + Oversee onsite project activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. + Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues or delays. + Stakeholder Communication: + Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, including management, contractors, and vendors. + Provide regular project updates and reports to ensure transparency and alignment. + Handover and Closeout: + Ensure smooth handover of completed projects to operations teams. + Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement. Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. + Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the food manufacturing industry. + Proven experience managing CAPEX projects, with a strong understanding of infrastructure requirements. + Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. + Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. + PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
