Construction Project Manager
Job Title: Construction Project Manager (RELOCATION) Job Description Our client is seeking a dedicated Construction Project Manager to oversee a 200,000 square foot federal facility project in Laredo, Texas. This $300 million project requires a manager who has previously led construction projects worth at least $100 million. The role requires onsite presence from Monday to Friday, with relocation options available for the right candidate. Responsibilities + Manage and oversee the construction of a 200,000 square foot federal facility. + Ensure the project stays within the $300 million budget. + Coordinate with federal contractors and ensure compliance with federal regulations. + Lead a team of construction professionals and subcontractors. + Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets. + Ensure all project milestones and deadlines are met. + Address and resolve any issues or delays that arise during construction. + Prepare and present regular project updates to stakeholders. Essential Skills + Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. + At least 12 years of construction experience, with 10 years as a Project Manager. + Experience with federal contracting. + Professional PMP or CCM certification preferred. + Proven experience managing construction projects exceeding $100 million in value. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in mechanical engineering and mechanical design. + Familiarity with federal government construction projects. + Strong project management skills including design and RFI management. + Ability to relocate if necessary. Work Environment The position requires presence onsite in Laredo, Texas from Monday to Friday. The candidate will also need to travel to Laredo for meetings once every couple of months, with all travel expenses covered. This is a three-year contract with the potential for another similar project in Arizona upon successful completion.
