Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee and ensure the financial health of various projects. This role involves managing project finances, creating projections, and coordinating with team members to deliver successful outcomes.
ResponsibilitiesManage the overall financial health of projects.Develop and maintain project financial and equipment projections.Allocate project estimates into the financial system.Identify cost codes, approve invoices, and make necessary budget decisions.Provide financials and billings to the Accounting Department for timely payment.Create monthly owner billings.Maintain budget for and make selections of trade partners and suppliers.Handle billing and contract management, including contract buyouts.Provide job assignments and facilitate career development.Approve time cards for on-site team members.Provide ongoing feedback on work performance.Assist with reviews of the owner agreement.Resolve site concerns for the owner or representative.Provide frequent interactions and service to build positive relationships and future work opportunities.Execute change orders.Decide the appropriate timing to submit to the owner or on-site representatives.Obtain the customer/architect’s approval.Maintain schedule and budget until project completion.Provide high-level management of quality, risk, safety, and compliance for the project and team members.Essential SkillsProject managementConstruction managementCommercial constructionGovernment contract management3+ years of relevant Project Management experienceExperience working on government/public projectsExperience with commercial ground-up spaceEstimationBiddingValue engineeringAdditional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or ArchitectureComfortable with travelingWork Environment
Depending on upcoming projects, the Project Manager could be spending much of their time on-site due to the size and scope of work required. When not on-site, the office is located in Park Rapids. The expectations include spending time in the office during a training period and then every couple of weeks for internal meetings. Remote/hybrid work arrangements are also available.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $55.00
