Manage remodels and capital projects from conception to completion, including budgeting, contractor management, and ensuring quality and safety and design standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning:
Work with the design team to create accurate project plans.
Allocate resources and address development opportunities.
Track milestones to meet deadlines.
Execution & Monitoring:
Bid out projects, hire and oversee the contractors and subcontractors.
Ensure work progresses as planned and resolve issues.
Conduct pre- and post-construction inspections, to maintain company design standards.
Budget Management:
Prepare budgets, negotiate contractor rates, and monitor expenses.
Review invoices and track spending to budget.
Compliance & Safety:
Enforce building codes and safety standards.
Oversee inspections and maintain compliance with policies and process.
Team & Stakeholder Coordination:
Assign tasks, manage schedules, and ensure productivity.
Keep clients and stakeholders informed of progress.
Professional Growth:
Attending training sessions and staying updated on industry trends.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field (preferred).
1–3 years of construction project management experience or PMP certification.
Familiarity with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.
Have a strong work ethic and a desire to improve your skills.
Willing to travel on short notice.
