Job Description:
Cambria is looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager that will be responsible for leading commercial construction projects throughout North America. This Construction Project Manager will be responsible for leading all activities from pre-construction through closeout of new construction projects.
In this position, the Project Manager will lead the development of project’s requirements, manage design phase, permitting, oversee all construction activities, implement quality controls, manage budget and ultimately deliver the completed project on schedule.
The Project Manager, Construction will need to interact with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, requiring the Project Manager to remain flexible, professional and continue to drive forward the progress of the project. This will require the Project Manager to develop a deep understanding of the business operations and synthesize those requirements into management of the construction project.
ESSENTIAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Construction Manager
Develop and maintain an expert-level of understanding related to the scope of work, current conditions, look ahead plans, and risks affecting the project.
Lead the collaboration and implementation of all design consultants, engaging the appropriate business leaders in to develop project requirements
Seamlessly resolve constructability issues by understanding priorities, business operations and contracted scope of work.
Interact with the field management on schedule progress and make acceleration plans as required
Contract & Financial Manager
Manage cost controls, project forecasts, and pay application reviews
Implement a disciplined a project administration plan and ensure project coordinators, vendors and internal stakeholders keep up
Consistently deliver financial updates, including spend forecasts
Develop and analyze new contracts, budgets and change orders affecting existing contracts
Project Leader
Work directly with all Cambria business units to ensure the project scope of work, schedule and resources are directed towards the correct priorities.
Seek out and implement lessons learned on previous plant construction projects
Organize and lead regular progress meetings, ensuring all project logs are up to date, meeting notes are taken and distributed, and action items are being tracked.
Qualifications & Skills:
Demonstrated expertise of managing construction documents, plans, major earthwork projects construction and ground up construction
Desire to work on extended, challenging projects
Have a spirit of learning and team work
Ability to synthesize change, maintain flexibility and continue to drive for results
Ability to develop comprehensive project schedules and manage change into the project flow
Bring a degree of attention to detail and stay highly organized
Act with a sense of urgency
Desire to be the accountable person
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree – Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar
Experience: 8+ Years of Commercial Construction Experience
Systems: Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Procore, Apple Products

Managerial Requirements: N/A
Physical Requirements: Ability to work extended hours, travel for extended periods without restriction.
Travel Requirements: 25% Travel out of state, ability to travel to Canada
