Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Project Manager to oversee and lead construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and ensuring that construction activities adhere to the predetermined schedule and quality standards. The ideal candidate will coordinate with various stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and laborers, to ensure seamless project execution.

ResponsibilitiesOversee the construction project from start to finish.Perform a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed.Create teams, develop objectives/goals for each, and assign individual responsibilities.Manage project accounting functions including budget management, tracking team expenses, and minimizing exposure and risk.Ensure that construction activities move according to the predetermined schedule.Devise project work plans and make revisions as necessary.Communicate effectively with contractors responsible for various project phases.Coordinate efforts of all parties involved in the project, including architects, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors, and laborers.Monitor the progress of construction activities regularly and hold status meetings with sub-teams.Maintain strict adherence to budgetary guidelines, quality, and safety standards.Perform periodic inspections of construction sites.Ensure project documents are complete.Demonstrate effective time management and logical decision-making abilities.Willingness to travel to construction sites.Essential SkillsBudgetingProject planningProject managementConstruction managementCost controlCost analysisPlanning schedulingProject coordinationMicrosoft ProjectRFICommercial constructionRetail constructionIndustrial constructionAdditional Skills & QualificationsSuccessful graduate in Construction Management/Commercial/Industrial BuildingRelevant General Contractor (GC) experience is non-negotiableWork Environment

This role is based in the Charlotte office with occasional site visits around the Carolinas. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $1400000.00/yr.

We offer Delta Dental, VSP Vision, and BCN/BCBS Health Coverages. Employee pays 30%, Company 70%.
We also have a HSA Health Plan.
401k with 50% match up to 6%

Year end bonuses based on merit.
Most standard holidays, + MLK & Veterans Day.
PTO is 'unlimited' within reason. We do track based on 2 weeks vacation & 1 week Personal, but we make exceptions for quality workers.
