Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Job Description

The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish. This includes overseeing the entire project lifecycle from pre-construction, working with permitting, and conducting design reviews with architects, to getting bids, leveling, purchase order tracking, construction, and final handover. The role also entails general owner’s representative responsibilities.

ResponsibilitiesManage projects from cradle to grave.Conduct pre-construction activities including permitting and design reviews with architects.Obtain and review bids, ensuring competitive and fair pricing.Track purchase orders and ensure timely procurement of materials.Oversee construction phases, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.Act as the owner's representative, ensuring all project requirements and standards are fulfilled.Ensure construction activities do not impact operational facilities.Essential SkillsProject management experience in construction.Knowledge of pre-construction processes.Experience with design reviews and permitting.Ability to manage bids and purchase order tracking.Experience with electrical or EV projects.Experience working with operational facilities.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong organizational and time management skills.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Work Environment

This role involves 50% travel, with some weeks requiring 3-4 days of travel and other weeks with no travel. When not traveling, this position is remote/WFH. The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for managing their own travel schedule based on project needs. The work will primarily be on operational facilities, focusing on retrofits without impacting facility operations. This is a highly independent role with managers available for support but with limited daily oversight.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $57.25/hr.
