Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Job Description

Responsible for project management and contract administration, including scheduling, project cost control, estimating and autonomous project closeouts.

ResponsibilitiesMonitor project budgets for optimal cost control, acting as project money manager, always striving to beat the budget.Schedule and coordinate subcontractors/vendors for optimal production, and buyout subcontractors/vendors to maximize ROI.Prepare and distribute MOFs.Schedule and manage pre-production meetings with supervisors.Accurately read, interpret, and analyze construction plans.Review bids, estimates, and change orders for cost analysis.Negotiate, prepare, and review contracts with clients/vendors.Conduct detailed job cost analysis and assist production managers in the analysis of materials, subcontractors, and equipment to purchase.Understand local market prices and stay up to date on fluctuations.Motivate to continually improve the efficiency of the company and its crews.Ability to schedule multiple projects utilizing computer-aided scheduling software.Perform all other job-related tasks, as assigned.Essential SkillsProject managementConstruction managementCommercial constructionConcrete constructionRFIChange orderProject coordinationProficient mathematical skillsProficiency with Microsoft OfficeExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to work well under time constraintsAbility to work well in a team environmentAdditional Skills & Qualifications5-10+ years of commercial and heavy highway construction experience required.Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering, preferred.High school diploma and 2-4 years technical school or equivalent.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/hr.
