Construction Project Manager- Senior Living

 

Plante Moran Realpoint LLC (PMR), affiliate entity of Plante & Moran, PLLC provides fully integrated real estate services exclusively to corporations and institutional organizations. To continue growing our practice, we are seeking a Project Manager with 5-8 years of project management experience in the senior living industry or related industry for our Living Forward team located in Naples, FL.  
 

This opportunity provides the option of working remotely, however it is the expectation that 50-75% of the time will be spent at client site. Your role. 

Your work will include, but not be limited to:   

Responsible for monitoring multiple projects of varying scope and scale simultaneously to ensure budgetary and scheduling restrictions are adhered to and comply with stated objectives. Attend and participate in meetings with the Client, Architect and Constructors Confer with Team Members on strategic or technical issues to ensure client goals are met Manage design professionals throughout the design phase of the project Manage and assist client and project team through entitlement, zoning and planning, and permitting process through the local and state jurisdictions. Manage the project team throughout the construction phase on the project Manage and coordination of FFE, technology, security, and/or commercial kitchen teams throughout the design and construction process. Coordinating the bid/award phase, reviewing bids and making contract award recommendations Assist the Client in modifying contract templates and negotiating contract terms Prepare and make presentations to clients as requested for projects in progress Ensure implementation and compliance of P&M and PMR policies and procedures on projects Develop, distribute and coordinate RFQ's and RFP's Complete property condition assessments for existing buildings to determine capital expenditure costs. Managing/monitoring budgets and cash flows and schedules Assisting in the development of phasing schedules and bid packaging strategies   

  

The qualifications.  

Engineering Degree, Architecture Degree or Construction Management Degree from an accredited college or university 5+ years development, owner’s representation, design or construction experience in the following areas: project management, planning or construction fields, specific to Senior Living, Commercial, Educational, and/or Health Care industriesThorough understanding of building design and construction process. Experience working for an Owner's Facility Team or as a consultant is preferred. Construction cost estimating experience is desirable.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project and/or Primavera Scheduling Software.

This is an exempt position, so you may have to work hours that exceed the standard 40-hour work week.  There may be up to 50% travel with this position.
