Freese and Nichols is seeking a Construction Representative/Inspector to join our team in Raleigh/Field. As a Construction Representative you will be responsible for observing construction on a variety of transportation, water and/or facilities infrastructure projects to verify compliance with approved plans and specifications.
Observe and inspect ongoing construction work to ensure construction is in accordance with plans and specificationsPrepare construction daily reportsSupport other ongoing document control processesPrepare for and assist with preconstruction meetings, progress checks, and conflict resolutionProvide information to project manager/construction manager to help define the need for change orders, extra work and/or supplemental agreementsCommunicate with client, contractors, and other employeesRead plan and specifications to be able to ensure construction is in accordance with plans and specificationsQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED3+ years relevant experience in the construction field serving as a construction representative or inspectorValid and Active Driver LicenseExcellent Written and verbal communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:
