Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Resident Project Manager III to join our team in Piscataway, United States. In this senior-level position, you will be responsible for overseeing large-scale construction projects, ensuring their successful completion on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Lead and manage all aspects of assigned construction projects from initiation to closeoutDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plansCoordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project goals are metConduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standardsManage project risks and develop mitigation strategiesPrepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholdersOversee contract administration and procurement processesEnsure adherence to local building codes and regulationsMentor and guide junior project team membersImplement and maintain effective communication channels among all project stakeholders

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification:

BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Must have NJDOT experience 

Preferred Qualifications 

Transportation Infrastructure Experience

Highway Experience 

Experience with NJ Agencys

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

10 years of experience working with NJDOT

Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) software

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Proven track record in budget management and cost control

In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards
