Construction Safety Manager
Job Title: Construction Safety ManagerJob Description

As a Construction Safety Manager, you will ensure workplace safety by identifying hazards, preventing accidents, and promoting health and safety awareness among staff. You will have the opportunity to improve workplace conditions by executing various safety programs and communicating guidelines to a diverse workforce. Your goal is to ensure the workplace meets all legal expectations and actively supports and monitors occupational health and safety.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute health and safety plans according to legal guidelines.Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety.Evaluate practices, procedures, and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law.Conduct training and presentations on health and safety matters and accident prevention.Monitor compliance with policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations.Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery to identify possible unsafe conditions.Investigate accidents or incidents to determine causes and handle worker’s compensation claims.Report on health and safety awareness, issues, and statistics to executives.Oversee field procedures to identify deviations from quality and safety standards.Proactively train internal and external staff on safety protocols.Essential SkillsOSHA 30- bonus if you have other OSHA certificationsBilingual in both Spanish and EnglishAccreditation and instructor training for boom lifts, telehandler, and fork truck.Excellent attention to detail for identifying hazards.Additional Skills & QualificationsCommercial construction experience.Ability to recommend solutions to issues and improvement opportunities.Understanding customer needs to develop effective quality control processes.Supervision and management of company tools, equipment, and field resources.Experience in investigating and managing loss prevention strategies for tools, equipment, and material.Work Environment

This role involves both office and on-site work, with on-site presence required 90% or more of the time. You will provide training to self-performing crews and subcontractors. The position includes occasional travel, with monthly visits to a site in Tennessee.
