Construction Sales Representative
Responsibilities:Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential clients through various channels, including networking, cold calling, industry events, and online research. Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients.Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. Understand their construction needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their project requirements.Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients. Highlight the benefits and features of the company’s construction services and products.Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate terms and pricing with clients to close sales deals. Ensure that contracts and agreements are accurately prepared and signed.Project Coordination: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure successful project execution. Communicate client expectations and monitor project progress.Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors. Use this information to identify new business opportunities and enhance sales strategies.Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and transactions. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales and project lifecycle.Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team and other departments to coordinate efforts and achieve company goals. Share insights and feedback to improve sales processes and strategies.Training and Development: Continuously improve sales skills and industry knowledge through training and professional development opportunities.Goal Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the construction industry.Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations is a plus.Willingness to travel to client sites and industry events as needed.
