Responsibilities/Qualifications

As a Drees Builder you will be responsible for the successful completion of all work in assigned areas as it relates to cost control, scheduling, quality control, customer satisfaction, safety, and general supervision. This position will work out of communities in the Northern Kentucky area. 

  

Duties and Responsibilities:

Complete weekly customer calls and track communicationComply with construction specifications and standardsUtilize internal scheduling system to ensure timely completion of homesResponsible for a quality building process and productPerform formal quality inspectionsTake an active part in subdivision and model maintenanceComply with OSHA regulations and other safety requirementsAnswer customer questions about the building processSet and maintain high standards of performance by subcontractors and suppliers

Knowledge and Skills:

Proven supervisory skills and cost control experienceAbility to work independently in a fast track environmentHighly organized self-starter The ability to hold subcontractors accountable for their workGreat customer service mindsetWilling to manage operations in multiple community locationsThe ability to read and understand plans and construction details; knowledge of residential building codes; general residential construction knowledge 
A self-motivated individual with a high energy level as well as a positive attitudeExcellent verbal and written communication skills with both internal and external customersBasic computer skills, familiar with MS OfficeExperience using an iPad and/or electronic scheduling system preferred

Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years of experience managing residential operations in all phases of the construction processExperience working for a production homebuilder a plus
Ability to read and understand plans and construction detailsMust be familiar with residential building codesGeneral residential construction knowledgeExperience handling multiple projects at a timeHigh School Diploma requiredBachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred

 

The schedule of this position will be Monday – Friday 8 AM to 5 PM, plus additional hours as necessary.
