Construction Superintendent
Job Title: Superintendent of Construction
Job Description

The Superintendent will be responsible for scheduling, workforce planning, coordinating, assisting in cost control oversight, ensuring safety and quality requirements are met, providing consistent and fair application of all policies and procedures, as well as planning, supervision, and productivity of all crews at the worksite. The Superintendent must also be able to coordinate carpentry, concrete, roofing, HVAC, and electrical subcontractors while managing the overall responsibility for the physical construction of assigned projects.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in BELOIT, Wisconsin.

Work Environment

Projects include industrial, multi-family, commercial, and municipal. The company self-performs all work for local jobs including concrete, carpentry (structural steel studs and general), general trades, roofing, excavation, and demo. They do not self-perform on jobs out of state. The Superintendent will have a Project Manager and foreman tied to the job. The crew size averages 50 people, and the trades are non-union. The position reports to the Director of Construction. Travel involves 90% of work within 75 miles of Beloit, with the remaining 10% out of state for multi-month or year-long jobs. The company will pay for trips home, hotel, and truck for out-of-state jobs. Work hours vary based on the project.
