The Lincoln Hancock Restoration Project Superintendent provides a key role in the Construction Department and is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of all assigned restoration projects. This role will be assigned to a project in the St. Petersburg area for approximately 2 years. Following that, there may be opportunity for a traveling superintendent role.The position will serve as the eyes and ears for projects. The position is entirely field based and will work from the jobsite.
\nThe duties will include but are not limited to:
\n\nQuality Control – Daily monitoring and supervision of subcontractors’ performance to ensure work is being performed correctly, including demolition clean-up. Conduct periodic crew meetings including crew lineups with project and safety briefings. \nProject Documentation – Daily completion of company required forms/checklists and proper uploading into company software.\nJobsite Safety – Daily monitoring of subcontractors work to ensure it complies with OSHA and standard site safety standards. Correction and documentation of issues if they are identified.\nClient Communication – Communicating with our clients in a timely and professional manner.\nConstruction Schedule – Daily monitoring of construction schedule to ensure project remains on schedule. \nDirectly reports to the Project Manager\nPerforms other related duties and assignments as required.\n\n RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
\n\nExperience managing sub-contractors, project oversight, quality control, jobsite safety and warranty.\nExperience in exterior building envelope construction, including roofing, siding, and windows. \nDemonstrated ability to manage, schedule, and organize all aspects of a project from materials handling to final completion.\nBasic computer skills - MS, Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook (Emails)\nAbility to read and understand Xactimate scopes.\nKnowledge of local, state, and federal code requirements\nKnowledge of hail damage and roofing projects\nEffective organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize workload.\nPossess strong verbal and written communication skills. The position will interact regularly with clients, government offices and subcontractors. Must have a customer-first approach.\nIntermediate problem-solving capabilities and basic knowledge of budgeting and cost control\n30-hour OSHA construction training preferred.\n\n
