Essel is looking for a construction Superintendent with experience managing mid to large scale projects to join our team! Salary Range: $150,000 - $170,000 a year The Superintendent will lead in the the following industries: Colleges Universities K-12 Districts Duties will include but not limited to: + Coaching subcontractors on safe construction practices + Quality control, ensuring all subcontractor deficiencies are corrected + Maintaining the project schedule and establishing the critical path for subs and vendors + Facilitating and encouraging subcontractor coordination + Working with design team and owner to overcome challenges / unforeseen conditions + Reviewing all drawings, specifications and submittals + Daily progress reports and weekly schedule updates Requirements Candidate Qualifications: + 5-10 years construction experience + 3-5 years supervisory experience + Strong communications skills, both written and verbal + Complete and detailed experience with subcontractor and construction sequencing + Understanding of ASI’s RFI’s and Material Submittals + Technology: Experience with Microsoft Office, MS Project and Procore + Experience with CMAR and/or Design/Build delivery methods + Must work well in a team environment and be committed to client service + Must be willing to travel within the Bay Area + OSHA 30 + A valid Driver’s License Benefits Offering competitive benefits
