Construction Superintendent

Job Summary: The Construction Superintendent oversees the daily operations of construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role involves coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and workers to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Site Management: Supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
+ Team Coordination: Direct and coordinate the activities of construction workers and subcontractors.
+ Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
+ Quality Assurance: Inspect work progress and materials to ensure quality and adherence to project specifications.
+ Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on the construction site.
+ Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
+ Documentation: Keep accurate records of daily activities, progress reports, and any changes to project plans.
+ Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
Qualifications:
+ Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction management or a related field is a plus.
+ Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction supervision or a similar role.
+ Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in construction management software.
+ Certifications: OSHA certification or similar safety training is preferred.
Working Conditions:
+ Environment: Primarily on construction sites, with exposure to various weather conditions.
+ Hours: Full-time, with potential for overtime depending on project demands.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $180000.00
