Construction Superintendent
Job Title: Construction Site Supervisor

Job Description

The Construction Site Supervisor will oversee and coordinate all on-site activities for the construction of residential homes, ensuring that construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves managing subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders.

ResponsibilitiesSupervise and manage all on-site construction activities for 15 single-family homes.Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure project specifications are met.Monitor project timelines and budgets, making adjustments as necessary.Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are maintained.Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts that may arise.Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily logs and reports.Liaise with clients, providing updates and addressing any concerns.Manage and mentor on-site staff and subcontractors.Essential Skills5+ years of experience as a construction site supervisor, superintendent, or similar role.Experience overseeing the construction of single-family homes/residential homes from start to finish.Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety regulations.Experience using Microsoft Programs for scheduling and coordinating tasks.Additional Skills & QualificationsDegree in Construction Management or similar is a bonus.Bidding and/or scheduling experience is preferred.Work Environment

This role involves working onsite 99% of the time in Shelby Township. Standard work hours are Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM, with occasional Saturdays as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $43.00
