Job Title: Construction SuperintendentJob Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent for upcoming projects throughout the Charlotte Metro and Fort Mill, SC area. The ideal candidate will have commercial general contractor experience, overseeing projects such as hotels, ground-up Valvoline oil change facilities, and various light commercial jobs throughout the Carolinas. Responsibilities + Oversee construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that work is completed on time and within budget. + Manage subcontractors, including those specializing in drywall, concrete, cabinetry, and flooring. + Ensure that all construction activities comply with building codes and safety regulations. + Coordinate and communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers. + Review and interpret blueprints and other project documentation. + Maintain project documentation and reports using Procore. + Receive training and support from the General Superintendent. Essential Skills + 5-10 years of experience as a Foreman to Superintendent. + Experience managing commercial construction projects from start to finish. + Proficiency in Procore and other construction management software. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + OSHA 30 certification. + Experience with blueprint reading, safety protocols, and subcontractor management. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Subcontractor experience in drywall, concrete, cabinetry, or flooring. + Hungry to learn and a go-getter attitude. + Ability to manage multiple trades for interior and ground-up construction. Work Environment The role will primarily involve independent work with training and resources provided by the General Superintendent, who is nearing retirement and primarily in training mode. The work environment encourages long-term employment and offers support to employees in any way possible. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.50 - $43.50/hr.
