Construction Superintendent
Job Title: Construction Superintendent Job Description The Construction Superintendent will manage construction projects for a general contractor/construction management company. They will plan, organize, and oversee project tasks by supervising field staff, sub-contractors, and ensuring overall project safety and quality. The Superintendent will monitor construction activities from the start of the project through completion and will be the leader in communication between trades, disciplines, clients, and office leadership. They will report directly to the Project Manager and Construction Director through a daily reporting log and proactive communication. Responsibilities + Plan, organize, and oversee project tasks. + Supervise field staff and sub-contractors. + Ensure overall project safety and quality. + Monitor construction activities from start to completion. + Lead communication between trades, disciplines, clients, and office leadership. + Report to the Project Manager and Construction Director through daily reporting logs and proactive communication. Essential Skills + 3+ years running and managing construction projects involving multiple disciplines/trades (electrical, mechanical, carpentry, exterior) + Experience managing construction projects valued at $1M+ + Experience with construction projects within commercial space Additional Skills & Qualifications + Proficiency in construction management, site supervision, and subcontractor management + Experience with ground-up commercial construction project management + Knowledge of RFI, change orders, and project coordination + Strong project scheduling skills Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $53.00/hr.
