Construction Superintendent
Construction Superintendent Job Description + We are seeking a General Contractor (GC) Superintendent for a 12-month project in Hamilton, NY. + The project involves constructing a $6M car dealership from the ground up. + The candidate must be proficient in Procore, knowledgeable in site work, and capable of managing the full scope of construction tasks. Responsibilities + Oversee all subcontractors, with the exception of the steel work, which will be self-performed. + Maintain daily logs and update project photos in Procore. + Prepare and manage 2-week look-ahead schedules. + Communicate effectively with all subcontractors. + Conduct and lead toolbox talks with subcontractors. + Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations. + Utilize computer applications for project management. + Read and interpret plans and specifications accurately. + Demonstrate quick learning abilities and multitasking skills. Essential Skills + Experience in construction management. + Experience as a General Contractor Superintendent. + Proficiency in Procore. + Strong knowledge of site work and full scope construction tasks. + Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications. + Strong communication and leadership skills. + Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations. + Proficiency in computer applications. Additional Skills & Qualifications + OSHA 30 certification. + Experience in commercial construction supervision. + Ability to lead and manage a team effectively. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
