This role is crucial for ensuring efficient production processes, adherence to safety standards, and successful project execution. The supervisor collaborates with cross functional teams, manages resources, and contributes to process optimization while managing and working with a team to complete on site task. Must use sound methodology to analyze issues and be capable of using written and verbal communications to convey specifics to internal and external customers.** **Must wear all required safety PPE, safety glasses with side shields and shoes at a minimum.** **Immunizations as required by job site locations.** **Required to pass a 30-hour health and safety training, at the company's expense.** **Additional testing can be required at customer request including, but not limited to, drug screening, medical testing for special work conditions, and safety tests** **Ability to obtain NCCCO Crane License.** **Must be hands on, ability to work with crew members to complete required task.** **Responsibilities:** **Oversee and manage daily operations of the Engineering department** **Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency** **Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols** **Monitor and analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement** **Train and supervise team members, providing guidance and support as needed** **Collaborate with other departments and teams to achieve common goals and objectives** **Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members** **Maintain accurate records and documentation related to department activities and projects** **Manage budget and resource allocation for the Engineering department** **Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in technology to improve processes and procedures** **Project Management:** **Plan and coordinate projects, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation** **Communicate project progress and updates to relevant stakeholders** **Identify and address any potential roadblocks or issues during the project early to minimize negative impacts.** **Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while meeting quality standards** **Evaluate project outcomes and implement changes for future improvements** **Safety and Compliance:** **Develop and enforce safety protocols and procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulations and ever-changing site conditions** **Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and address any potential hazards** **Ability to demonstrate safe work behavior. May work at a hazardous site, may have to demonstrate use of safety equipment at site. Support Xylem safety programs including Job Self Assessments (JSA) and related checks.** **Investigate and report any safety incidents or accidents, implementing corrective actions as needed.** **Team Management:** **Understand team dynamics and effective management practices.
