Job Title: Construction Superintendent Job Description We are searching for an experienced construction superintendent for community solar projects in Illinois. The role involves managing day-to-day operations and administrative duties on-site for multiple community solar sites throughout Illinois, each approximately 1-2.5 MW. Construction Supervisors will oversee project construction from the on-site trailer, reporting directly to the Construction Manager, and sending daily reports of progress and safety. This is an opportunity to gain experience in the renewable energy industry with the potential to transition to a full-time position. Responsibilities + Manage the day-to-day operations and administrative duties on-site. + Report directly to the Construction Manager and send daily progress and safety reports. + Manage sub vendors on-site and coordinate with their foremen. + Enforce safety and regulatory policies and procedures. + Set daily and weekly productivity standards for contractors and subcontractors. + Develop a three-week look-ahead schedule and work with the Construction Manager to ensure the schedule is met. + Coordinate deliveries of equipment with the logistics team and subcontractors. + Review project plans, blueprints, and specifics daily. Essential Skills + Construction management experience in commercial projects (electrical or civil). + Technical degree in Engineering or Construction Management or extensive construction management experience. + Ability to read blueprints and schematics. + Experience managing sub vendors. + Proficiency in PDF, Microsoft Word, and Excel. Must be computer savvy. + OSHA 10 certification. + OSHA 30 certification Additional Skills & Qualifications + Solar experience. + Electrician or electrical experience. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $42.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
