Construction Supervisor - Move Management (Buffalo, NY)
Overview:

Manages construction projects under $100M or larger dollar projects where complexity is limited to building and furniture refresh rather than full reconstruction.  Coordinates furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) installations and employee moves and building restacks.  Supports Construction Managers on larger projects.

The main focus of this role will be Move Management to start, with some work supporting the teams projects.

Primary Responsibilities:Supervise contractors and vendors in the field.Coordinate project work impact on users of space and moves.Coordinate distribution of requirements and drawings for pricing.Prepare expenditure requests, project cost and financial reports.Manage inputs and reporting from pertinent Departmental systems.Manage related risk and regulatory activities.Interact with customers at regional level.Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite.  Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.Complete other related duties as assigned.

Scope of Responsibilities:

This position provides Bank-wide office support with regional on site management.

Education and Experience Required:

Associate’s degree in Business and a minimum of 3 years’ related experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 5 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 3 years’ related experience

Experience reading and understanding drawings

Personal computer skills

Education and Experience Preferred:

Knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD), drafting and specifications
