Job Title: Construction Team Intern

Job Summary: The Construction Team Intern will support the Construction Team by completing project work and administrative activities that support the long-range plan and team goals. Opportunities will be provided to visit construction job sites, review construction documents, learn basic estimating and construction management skills.
Principal Duties:
Research and report on new construction technologies and material designs. Develop metric tracking for any ongoing construction tests.Assist with vendor management and scheduling.Review plans for accuracy and completeness and assist with new documentation and processes.Review current products used and develop alternate list.Visit projects under construction and report on findings. Perform safety audits.Assist with design changes and program rollout execution and tracking.Assist with RFI/RFP/RFQ process for new and existing vendors.Develop vendor scorecard and implement within construction department.Essential Functions:
