**Job Title: Construction Highway Technician** **Job Description** We are looking for multiple Construction Highway Technicians to assist in duties such as installing roadway guardrails on highways throughout the greater Jacksonville area. Candidates will have daily experience installing guardrails along with signs, handrails, and crash cushions (attenuators) for DOT projects on active highways and roads. This role is labor-intensive and requires lifting, holding, and managing heavy materials. Responsibilities include laying out guardrails, handling and installing materials, digging holes, using power tools, and cementing guardrail legs into place. Candidates may also be expected to drive larger trucks like Ford F-450s and possibly pull a long trailer with guardrail materials.
