What Communications Business Partner contributes to Cardinal Health
Communications defines and executes communication and public relations strategies in support of the company's business objectives, image and reputation for both internal and external stakeholders. This function builds relationships with external stakeholders, including media and community organizations, and designs meetings and communications to leverage these relationships and promote the company.
Communications Business Partner engages various internal audiences in the purpose and priorities of Cardinal Health, key initiatives and strategies with the goal of accelerating company performance. This job family develops and distributes print-based and digital communications including corporate policy manuals, internal newsletters, process handbooks, and function-specific documents created in collaboration with subject matter experts. This job family evaluates employee engagement with internal communications and liaises with leaders to ensure dissemination of communications.
Job Summary
This position, primarily focused on internal communications, is responsible for the development and execution of comprehensive communication strategies and tactics to engage employees and stakeholders in support of business strategies and initiatives. The role applies communication principles and practices, contributing to the communications strategies for the Global Business Services (GBS) team within the Global Technology and Business Services (GTBS) organization. GBS includes support for Cardinal Health International India (CHII) and Cardinal Health International Philippines (CHIP) locations.

Internal communications
Coordinate, create and publish content for weekly newsletters across the businessCreate and coordinate internal announcements and change management communicationsSupport communication of technology issues and outagesCreate and manage content for internal channels (Intranet, Viva Engage, Digital Signage, Huddle Guides, etc.)Support internal cultural and engagement initiativesContent development and events/AV logistical planning for EIT events (Town Halls, Let’s Chat sessions, etc.)External communications
Counsel and support leaders and businesses/functions with external speaking opportunities, third-party endorsements and media requests, as neededSocial media
