**What You’ll Be Doing**
You will joining CIBC’s Commercial Banking & Payments Technology (CBPT) Team. You will provide leadership for QA deliverables on large, complex program/projects supporting CIBC digital transformation & modernization strategy. The role applies professional knowledge in leading & strategizing the functional & automated testing function within the Commercial QA team, managing the work deliverables of offshore teams, managing project stakeholders communication. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage. Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues. Ensure adherence to quality standards, best practices, and industry regulations throughout the testing process. Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and techniques to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. The role works closely with a variety of stakeholders including the Executives, CIBC Technology teams, Business partners, and external vendors to assess business needs, solutions, and applying appropriate testing methodologies and best practices.

+ **Relationship Management** – Work closely with project teams, executives, stakeholders and business partners to develop, and implement high quality solutions that meets/exceeds business and client expectations
**Who You Are**
+ **You can demonstrate experience with:** A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience as a senior consultant in Quality Engineering for Banking and Financial Services domain. You have in-depth knowledge of testing processes working with BAs and Developers to validate requirements and incorporate the requirements for the design and development of test strategy, test plans, cases, and the automation test scripts.
+ Expert in Quality Engineering for products developed in both Agile and waterfall methodologies. Experience participating in test strategy development, test estimation, and planning discussions. You can read Requirement Specification documents and produce Test Plans and Test Cases in software development testing, automation, and software process improvement. Able to define and execute the automation, testing, and QA processes from smoke testing through final acceptance testing, able to define and execute an automation strategy working with external groups.
+ Experience with testing approaches, tools, and techniques for working with individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. (Master's degree preferred). Proven experience as a Test Manager or similar role in software testing. Strong technical background with proficiency in SQL, Main frame and web applications is a must. Automation testing tools and programming languages (e.g., Selenium, Java, Python) experience is a plus. Experience in designing and executing test strategies, plans, and test cases for complex software projects.
+ Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.
