What Learning Development & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health
Learning develops, deploys and evaluates learning solutions to support employee development and build organizational capability in alignment to business strategies. This function analyzes learning needs and develops training curricula, technologies, and programs. This function also manages trainings provided by third-parties and partners with leaders and subject matter experts within functions and business units to deliver learning.
Learning Development and Delivery provides instructor-led trainings and manages training processes to maximize the value that employees gain from learning solutions. This job family delivers training materials including presentations, guides and manuals, and course evaluations and coordinate training schedules based on training needs.
Position Overview
The Consultant, Learning Business Partner is responsible for managing learning program delivery and serving as a Learning Business Partner for the Supply Chain & Manufacturing learning team with a primary focus on Medical Quality, Global Planning and Global Logistics including Global Trade policies.
Responsibilities
Perform Learning Business Partner responsibilities for a subset of the Supply Chain Academy clients including needs assessment, skill gap analysis and curriculum developmentLiaison with a variety of business functions engaging on large and small projects alikeConsults with customers to identify development needs and collaborates with appropriate partners to recommend solutions.Works with senior business leaders to develop learning strategy and reports progress and outcomes through a quarterly business reviewGuides key business initiatives focused on upskilling/reskilling of existing employeesProvides ongoing sustainment and measurement of Supply Chain Academy programsAbility to operate with a sense of urgency, and willing to roll up sleeves, driving for results by set deadlines on multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to adapt to changing business needsSupports delivery strategy including facilitationMaintains strong partnership with Instructional Design & Development Hub team applying project management methodology; guides subject matter experts in program design and executionResponsible for establishing and maintaining vendor relationshipsResponsible for managing programs successfully including forecast and budget achievementRecommends new practices, processes, metrics, or modelsAdapts classroom management/teaching techniques "on the fly" to a wide variety of classroom situations.Uses effective questioning and probing skills to adapt and modify delivery.Provides feedback on course design and content to Instructional Design & Development (IDD) team.Provides feedback to class participants and business leadersQualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred5+ years of training and/or HR experience, preferredStrong consulting, influence, and relationship management skillsProgram design and management experienceDemonstrated ability navigating diverse business functionsKnowledge of adult learning theories and best practices.Passion for process improvement and innovationDemonstrates knowledge and effective use of training system technologies, presentation/facilitation tools, techniques, and materialsWorking knowledge of Instructional Design & Development Lifecycle; familiarity with human centered learning / design thinking preferredDemonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and work with short timelinesHighly motivated, creative, self-sufficient, able to operate effectively with a teamStrong work ethicTravel expected at 25% or lessAnticipated salary range: $66,500-$99,645
