Overview We are seeking a Consultant to join our Digital Grid Solutions team. The Intelligent Grid Solutions team helps our clients: Clarify grid modernization strategy and technology requirements Assess and integrate emerging digital operational technologies Leverage their information assets to uncover new insights Determine opportunities for process improvement and change management Enable enhanced situational awareness for utility transmission and distribution operators Fully leverage their technology investments Identify and prioritize security and data protection risks This position will be an essential part of our team to grow the consulting practice. Sample projects could include Grid modernization technology roadmaps, requirements gathering and documentation, IT/OT integration and execution strategies, smart grid technology deployment, and business use case creation and evaluation. The Consultant will work to support our team to help deliver quality products to our clients. Specifically, they will bring a high-energy attitude with excellent written and organizational skills. Additionally, they will work with our Senior Consultants and other groups within the broader TRC organization to help execute a variety of projects for advanced utility technologies, including: Business case development Strategic roadmap creation Technology assessment and procurement Use case creation and requirements gathering Research and white paper creation Business process flows and change management #LI-PF1 Responsibilities Develop an understanding of customer business processes and translate them into functional requirements Organize project documents and timelines Gather and analyze data for project deliverables Support workshops Create presentations for all levels of organizations Create project deliverables Test Case Development System Configuration Test Execution Support business development activities Ability to generate and execute ideas for improving internal processes with a positive and constructive attitude Demonstrates problem-solving abilities, coupled with a desire to take on responsibility Assist as needed on other professional services projects Expectations: Excellent written, verbal communication skills Collaborative nature and willing to share knowledge across broader team while contributing to reusable collateral Clear and timely communication internally and externally Ability to interact with the Client team, including project sponsors and other stakeholders Looks for ways to improve the delivery process, reduce issues/rework, and improve customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle Ability to troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis Travel: up to 50% travel Qualifications A degree from an accredited school or university is required Strong organizational skills Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project) Three plus years of utility or consulting experience Ability to follow detailed procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation and data Benefits*: TRC offers a competitive benefit package consisting of: Medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance. 401k package that includes both traditional and Roth IRA options and Company match. Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors. Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
