Job purpose
The primary responsibility for a Qualitative Research Consultant is to provide day to day support to the Qualitative Director across a range of accounts and build meaningful impact on our client’s businesses. As a key interface between Kantar and our clients, the role includes client engagement, consultancy, study design and analysis, driving preparation of presentations and reports as well as internal responsibilities such as project management, and mentor trainees.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Stakeholders: Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to understand their needs and objectives and present findings in an impactful manner with strong ability to decipher briefs and excellent in cost management to drive overall commercial goals for the team
Research Design & Execution: Plan, develop and implement a range of Qualitative research including FGDs, IDIs ethnography studies and online communities, ensuring high quality results
Methodology Innovation: Stay informed of new trends, tools and methods in Qualitative research, incorporating innovative ways where relevant to improve research outcomes
Insights Generation: Translate complex data and Qualitative insights into actionable recommendations and strategies for clients, marketing teams and business collaborators
Report Writing & Presentation: Synthesize research findings into compelling reports and presentations that effectively communicates insights to diverse audiences
Project Management: Supervise multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope and aligned with the Central Business Question and research objectives
Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, train and mentor junior researchers, crafting a culture of continuous improvement, curiosity and perfection within the team
Qualifications & Skills
At least 5 years in Qualitative consumer research, preferably in agency / consultancy or corporate environmentA degree or equivalent experience in psychology, market research, business or related field is preferredProven track record of managing end-to-end Qualitative research projectsStrong expertise in Qualitative research methods, tools and analysis techniquesExcellent analytical skills with the ability to distill complex findings into clear and actionable insightsOutstanding communication and presentation skills; ability to engage and influence collaborators at all levelsDemonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentFamiliar with digital Qualitative platforms, social listening and online community is plusExperience in People Management or would like to further develop their career in managing a team to successAt Kantar we have a coordinated way of rewarding our people based around a simple, clear and consistent set of principles.
