Role profile

ERM has opportunities for graduates with a science background for a Junior Chemical Safety Consultant role in the Product Stewardship and Regulatory Affairs (PSRA) team.

The Consultants will be responsible for project delivery and management whilst supporting the business and client relationship development activities. Main responsibilities are (not limited to):

Acquire technical knowledge and expertise in the fields of:

· Classification and labelling of industrial chemical substances, Safety data sheet authoring / hazard communication using Lisam software

· Creation of templates using Lisam and management of Lisam software updates

· Industrial hygiene / exposure assessment /global chemical inventory analysis

· Get involved in task for the authorization of Plant Protection Products

· Act as an advisor to our clients (both national and global) on all relevant technical and regulatory product issues

· Actively involved in client relationship development through project discussions and demonstrating credibility

Requirements:

· Life sciences, Chemistry, Chemistry-related or Environmental Science Bachelors or Masters subject

· Confident user of MS office (Microsoft Excel in particular).

· Strong English and German language skills are a requirement for this position; any other EU or non-EU language is a bonus

· Demonstrable critical thinking and problem-solving abilities along with excellent analytical and communication skills

· Good attention to detail, organizational skills and time management

· Good communicator
