What You Will Do:

The Energy Providers practice helps utilities and energy companies stay ahead of the curve as the energy industry rapidly transitions to require cleaner fuel supply, increased reliability, improved resilience, and more control over energy costs for customers.

Consultants support project teams both at client sites and internally. Responsibilities include client management, solution implementation and generation of project results. The key function of a Consultant’s role is to create and present high-quality deliverables that support essential project workstreams. Consultants gather and analyze data and make recommendations related to baseline performance and structure as well as established best practices and benchmarks.

Key responsibilities may include:

Contributing to creative problem-solving to drive outcomes for clientsData analysis, technical engineering reviews, economic modeling, and/or primary data collectionAssessing energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies and trendsBuilding and technology energy simulation modelingField performance measurement and data collection of building and industrial process energy systemsMarket research, literature reviews, and policy analysisFact-finding, research, and analysis on energy-related activitiesPreparing reports, presentations, and other documents for client deliverablesDeveloping technology strategies for utilities, government, and energy companiesCommunicating solutions and new strategies to clients and stakeholders


What You Will Need:

Minimum Years of Experience: 0 years Minimum Degree Required: Master’s Degree (Must be enrolled in an accredited degree program in 2024 and graduate by summer 2025)Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the countryNo current or future sponsorship is available for this position


What Would Be Nice To Have:

Degree/Majors Preferred: Engineering, Data Science, Public Policy, Sustainability, Economics, or a related disciplineStrong interest and/or experience in the energy, sustainability, and/or consulting industriesProficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, ExcelKnowledge of R, Python, SQL, SPSS, or other programming languagesOutstanding analytical and problem-solving skillsProactive and independent work styleAbility to manage several tasks simultaneously, prioritize and plan work activities while meeting respective deadlinesAbility to assume ownership of significant portions of tasks while collaborating with a close-knit teamHighly developed organizational and management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong conceptual, as well as quantitative and qualitative analytical skillsExcellent at visualizing data, synthesizing insights, and storytelling with dataExcitement to explore the underlying cause of the observation/result

The annual salary range for this position is $71,800.00-$107,600.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
