The position offers an exciting challenge and career opportunity for someone with a proven background within retirement fund consulting looking to join an established team with a market leading insurance broker.

This is a full-time role and you must be able to attend the office a minimum of 3 days a week including Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday.

We will count on you to:

In conjunction with the Client Executive:

Consult to a portfolio of clientsProvide appropriate advice, excellent client service and project management to ensure the smooth running of the client baseEstablish strong relationships with key decision makers, management committee members and service providersEnsure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are on file for all clients and services are provided in line with SLAEnsure client contact details are accurateDevelop an annual year plan for each client and ensure adherence to deliverablesPrepare agendas for management committee meetings and ensure distribution in line with SLAAttend management committee meetings and other ad hoc meetings as requiredEnsure minutes of meetings are accurate and complete and ensure that they are distributed in line with SLAEnsure matters arising from meetings are actioned timeouslyCarry out and present risk and administration re-marketing exercisesCoordinate and conduct member roadshows and client inductions.Ensure timeous response to queries from global colleaguesAttend regular meetings with administrators/service providers regarding status of fundsNegotiate with insurers/service providersIdentification of cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within client baseAttend regular meetings with team to discuss workflow and problem areasEnsure commissions are paid on time and accurately.Foster good working relationships with clients, staff, manager and internal divisionsKeep abreast of industry developments

What you need to have: 

A three year related qualification

What makes you stand out?

Minimum two years’ experience in the retirement fund and group risk consulting field.

Drivers licence and own transport

Must be/have been registered as a FAIS representative for both advice and intermediary services for the relevant categories and be FAIS compliant.
