CoverMyMeds (CMM) is growing fast and with growth comes change.  The Integration Management Office is looking for a Consultant - Strategy / Integrations to drive the intentional planning & execution of our highest priority initiatives to support our growth.  In this role, you’ll execute in support of business leaders to deliver the measurable outcomes of CMM’s integration efforts.  Through a consultative approach, you’ll have the opportunity to influence highly visible strategic priorities that positively impact the business and our employees for years to come.  In this role, you’ll also support the annual strategic planning process and work with leaders across the business to support the execution.

This work can’t be done by just one person, so you’ll work in partnership with business leaders and their teams across broader McKesson and within CMM’s business segment. This involves tight collaboration with enabling functions such as: Product, Operations, Commercialization, HR, Finance, IT, Legal, Compliance, and Corporate Strategy & Business Development.

What You'll Do

The Consultant - Strategy / Integrations will drive execution across two key focus areas of the integration:  Governance and Synergy Realization.  Specific activities you will engage in to drive execution across each of these areas include:

Governance

Executes end to end process for managing the integration (drumbeat, governance, infrastructure, names of leads, etc.)Drives utilization of the program management tool to track key integration milestonesDevelops list of “critical decisions”; manages decision roster and communicates to appropriate parties as necessaryRuns key integration workshops – Walk the Wall, Day 1 Readiness, etc.Gathers key data inputs for understanding performance against the Integration Management Office-defined metricsAssembles an integrated view of the health of the integration activities including risks, decisions, and issues requiring attentionPartners with all integration leads to ensure integration is executing as plannedPartners with Senior Director, Integrations to prep for Integration Steering Committee meetingsPartners with “People Lead” for all change management & employee engagement related tasks; helps ensure risks are properly managed for the integration

Synergy Realization

Drives synergy pod infrastructure (process, cadence, reporting of key information) at the start of the integration; enables quick synergy realizationRuns synergy tracking infrastructure (key KPIs, milestones, dashboard) to be read out to the Synergy Steering CommitteeAssists product leaders with developing synergy roadmap for the integrationsPartners with Finance to ensure that synergy tracking links to financial trackingPartners with Deal Team to understand sources of synergy value identified in the diligence phase Partners with Senior Director, Synergies to prep for Synergy Steering Committee meetingsCoordinates backlog of additional synergy opportunities (to be pursued as needed)

About You

The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys coordinating complex work across multiple functional areas.  Experience within a variety of functions (IT, HR, Finance) will be valuable in driving execution of the work.  To be successful in this role, you will need to learn the business landscape, understand business requirements and stakeholder expectations, maintain an awareness of the “big picture”, and leverage creative problem solving to create alignment and influence.  You will help build organizational commitment through effective partnership with the Change Management and Internal Communication functions within CoverMyMeds and McKesson.

4-year degree in business strategy or related field or equivalent experience.  MBA preferred. 5-7 years of relevant experience; consulting experience a plusExperience in large, complex, matrixed organizations - Fortune 500Operate with curiosity, enthusiasm to take on new opportunities and willingness to tackle tough challengesDemonstrate resiliency and adaptabilityExperience with acquisitions / integrations, business transformations and / or process improvementsUnderstands basic financial principles and applies them to real-world business situationsAbility to direct the work of others – dotted line – by providing direction, delegating, and removing obstaclesTailor your communication style to work well with stakeholders at all levels in the organization and demonstrate emotional intelligenceInfluence people through effective communications, persuade with data, build commitment and support of othersAssess and maneuver through complex processes, policies, and organization dynamicsDemonstrate resiliency and situational adaptabilityEnergized by driving project execution and keeping stakeholders aligned / on-trackLocation: Columbus OH - Highly Preferred. DFW, HOU and ATL are considerations. This is not a remote role

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$100,500 - $167,500
