The Consultant Support System will work with the IBM mainframe team to install, customize, and maintain the IBM Z Storage environment, which encompasses DASD, Tape and SanFabric. This role will support the HSBC Technology team, which has received extensive investments and will continue to undergo rapid expansion throughout 2027 and beyond.

As our Consultant Support System,you will:

Manage system performance, reliability and availability to service level agreements Ensure that hardware and application security and controls meet or exceed guidelines Develop, manage and maintain a comprehensive disaster recovery plan for all managed systems Design rollouts of system enhancements and upgrades Create standards for supported systems Automate processes using VMWare Automation tools Create documentation and SOP's Provide Operations Support Interaction with Service Center, Network Control Center and other business support areas for problem escalations, resolutions, reporting and coordination

For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $95,600.00 and $143,400.00

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.
