The Change Management Communications Specialist will play a key role on the dynamic and high-achieving, Total Workplace Team at Cushman & Wakefield. This person will focus on the people side of change – primarily focused on creating and implementing change management strategies for C&W clients. The Change Management Communications Specialist will create communications and engagement opportunities that help to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization and greater proficiency of the changes that impact employees in the organization.Job Description
· Bachelor’s degree in Communications, HR, Organization Development, Psychology or related field preferred
· Some (2+ years) consulting experience preferred
· Change management certification or designation desired; Prosci Certification a plus
· A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process; experience with Prosci ADKAR® Model is a plus
· Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills and ability to write across a wide variety of formats
· High emotional intelligence, excellent interpersonal communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
· Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
· Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
· Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
· Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
· Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
· Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
· Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
· Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
· Support Workplace Strategy and Change Management team to create and implement effective change management strategies to ensure successful and lasting change.
· Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities
· Create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan
· Lead communication efforts as part of an overall change management strategy
· Complete change management assessments
· Identify, analyze, prepare risk mitigation tactics
· Identify and manage anticipated resistance
· Consult and coach project teams, as needed
· Support training efforts, as needed
· Support and engage senior leaders
· Evaluate and ensure user readiness
· Track and report issues
· Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
· Participate in the development of presentation materials; ensuring the final product is clear, succinct, delivers a powerful message and addresses client questions and goals
· Create materials using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and other applicable presentation tools
· Manage project time and respond to team requests in a timely manner, meeting all team and project deadlines
· Participate actively in the research and development of white papers and industry reports
· Seek out and suggest ways to apply new industry tools/technology to current projects
· 20-40% travel at times
· Other job duties as assigned
PHYSICAL CONDITIONS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to travel from floor to floor and may be required to travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions. The employee may also be regularly required to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time; regularly use hands to operate office equipment including, but not limited to, telephones, computers, and printers; regularly required to walk, talk, and hear.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
