The Consultative Lead (CL) focuses on growing strategic partnerships with existing accounts and prospects. This position sets goals, designs project plans, manages projects, and leverages the other roles within the organization to accomplish those goals. The CL also must be able to communicate compelling diagnostics and offer expert advice on how to support client and business needs through analytic tools.
Responsibilities Leads strategic analytical engagements with clients in partnership with Account Executives. Works with Account Executives and Sales Executives to build client-specific strategies that will lead to measurable success and build long-term preference with the buyer.Focuses on accounts and prospects that have opportunity for win-win partnerships, securing agreement with accounts to deploy solutions, and driving the expansion of revenue for Consultative Analytics.Delegates tasks to other members of the department related to these accounts or strategic objectives.Provides oversight of, and may also perform, complex client/prospect-specific claim program health assessments for the risk management, operations, and CFO levels. Surfaces cost mitigation opportunities and develops action plans with detailed solutions. Designs new and differentiated solutions/products/services, that we can offer to our clients, tests solutions for benefits, and develops material to explain and promote solutions.Identifies new diagnostics and the tools to display those diagnosticsDevelops efficiencies, automation, and new tools.Understands how to effectively manage a complex audience (broker, Risk Manager, CFO) including leveraging sponsors and managing around anti-sponsorsUpholds the Crawford Code of Conduct Requirements Bachelor’s degree6 years of experience in Business Consulting. Experience in doing statistical analysis and presenting an analysis to a Risk Management audience. Experience in actuarial concepts related to developing a loss pick. Driver’s LicenseWillingness to travel 2-5 nights per monthMastery of MS ExcelFamiliarity with MS Access or other database programsCapable of quickly learning new tools as needed and training others in the use of those toolsProject Management experienceUnderstanding of relational database design theory and agile developmentUnderstanding of statistics, particularly as it is applied to claim population analysisUnderstanding of actuarial concepts related to developing a loss pickFocused on solutions: employee is aware of roadblocks, but is continually applying creativity and a comprehensive approach to overcome roadblocks.Entrepreneurial work ethic: focused on building a new practice versus clocking in/out.Highly organized thinking, writing and presenting so that key points are delivered powerfully and clearly to the right audienceAbility to think critically about problems to create appropriate solutionsCapable of making arguments to unknown audiences (such as a CFO that is not at a meeting, but might view material or receive a secondhand presentation from another party.)Ability to articulate complex concepts simply for a non-technical audience About Us Why Crawford?
