Job SummaryThe HEDIS Record Reviewer performs accurate and efficient medical record review and abstraction for HEDIS reporting to support client critical quality initiatives. Medical record review and abstraction is performed remotely and involves electronic medical records, requires capturing and securing documentation, and involves using an electronic reporting system.
Essential FunctionsConduct medical record, chart and EMR, reviews necessary to capture of clinical quality data.Gain and apply a clear understanding of HEDIS, or other, measure criteria and specifications in order to accurately collect required data.Gain proficiency with data collection software in order to accurately enter data.Gain an understanding of the measurement process and use plan resources available to efficiently conduct chart reviews.Communicate clearly with ambulatory office staff, act in a professional manner, and follow strict confidentiality of member information.QualificationsRequired
(RN) - State of Michigan Upon HirePreferred
