Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Consultant in Detroit, Michigan and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do
Provide software advisory and implementation services to help bring world class Supply Chain network capabilities, operational know-how, digital technologies, advanced analytics, and industry-specific hybrid solutions. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities for Supply Chain network optimization. Help define systems strategy, develop system requirements, design, prototype, and test custom technology solutions, and support system implementation. Assist in the research of user reported issues with software systems, identify root causes and resolutions, implement fixes, and liaise between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams. Provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling tools to produce analysis and algorithms. Help manage the complexity inherent with technology change, from requirements planning to architecture, and testing to deployment, helping to link their IT programs to organizational goals. Drive operational efficiency by maintaining data ecosystems, sourcing analytical expertise and providing offerings for continuous insights and improvements.
• 50% Travel required nationally.
• Telecommuting permitted.
• Work location includes various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Requirements
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 1 year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 1 year of related work experience in each of the following:
• Tracking implementation defects, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details, utilizing Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Microsoft (MS) Excel, JIRA, and ServiceNow;
• Designing sub-components of larger systems, integrating applications with each other, and optimizing system structure, utilizing MS PowerPoint, SAP Material Management (MM), Warehouse Management Software as a Service (SaaS) solution;
• Creating technical and functional system requirements and use cases, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, and process models, utilizing Microsoft’s Word, PowerPoint, and Visio;
• Designing, developing, testing, and implementing Web-based applications solutions across all phases of Agile and Waterfall methodologies project lifecycles;
• Gathering functional and technical requirements, developing business process workflows, and analyzing and translating requirements into project designs to deliver solutions to meet clients’ needs, utilizing Microsoft’s’ Word, PowerPoint, and Visio following Agile methodology;
• Performing Functional Unit, System Integration, User Acceptance testing utilizing SaaS Products, SAP MM, and Warehouse Management SaaS solution to ensure successful design and implementation of project solutions;
• Defining requirements, use cases, product management, and functional specifications, utilizing MS Word, MS Excel, JIRA, and Rally.

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week
