Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Engineering Lead in Stamford, Connecticut and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You’ll Do
Manage information technology projects including development and implementation, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Manage technical teams to architect, build and deploy solutions. Manage and deliver components of engagements, within the full software development life cycle. Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Serve as a technical liaison between the business, project team and developers/testers; and work with IT infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications.
--20% Travel required nationally.

Requirements
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:
--Implementing infrastructure, application monitoring, and alerting mechanisms to ensure system availability and uptime, using Python scripting. Azure native, and Open-source tools;
--Developing and maintaining data lake and data warehouse schematics, layouts, architectures, and relational & non-relational databases for data access and advanced analytics;
--Implementing Extract Transform Load (ETL) pipelines or data flows in Azure Data Factory, and developing solutions for Data Governance, Data Quality, and Data Modeling;
--Developing engineering designs to impact business performance, and collaborating between business and technical stakeholders to lead technical work and build client relationships;
--Implementing scalable and sustainable data engineering solutions, using Databricks, Azure, Apache Spark, and Python;
--Conducting assessments and defining enterprise roadmaps for enabling a data-driven analytics organization;
--Managing day-to-day interactions with executives and sponsors, and developing and maintaining contact with key decision makers; and,
--Documenting best practices and maintenance of knowledge base for implementing and supporting Python applications on Azure Cloud.
