Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Manager in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do
Manage software advisory, information technology project, and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Evaluate the technology needs of an organization, develop strategies to increase the company's profitability, and design and implement plans to comply with legislation and ensure business growth in connection to information technology projects. Manage day-to-day interactions with executives and sponsors and develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients. Lead aspects of the information technology project proposal development process and contribute to the advancement of pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, and provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Improve internal processes and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.

50% Travel required nationally. Telecommuting permitted. Work location includes various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Requirements
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience.

Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:

Utilizing integrated eligibility reporting, operational dash boarding, and data warehousing to manage software advisory and implementation services for clients in the public sector industry; Working across all phases of project delivery and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for the design, development, testing, and implementation of federal, management, and operational reporting, using IBM Infosphere, DataStage, and Oracle; Strategizing, planning, designing, and managing implementation of ETL (Extract Transform Load) solutions to modernize reporting capabilities by leveraging Change Data Capture (CDC) and Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD) in IBM DataStage; Participating in integration testing by leveraging use case, activity, and Visio flow diagrams by utilizing SQL queries to analyze test coverage, identifying gaps in testing activities, and performing functional and non-functional testing to ensure successful design and implementation of project solutions; Reviewing codes and providing recommendations for solution implementation through use of IBM Infosphere, DataStage, and Oracle; Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze client requirements, and translate requirements into project designs by employing Business Intelligence (BI) solutions to facilitate federal, management, and operational reporting; and Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverable statuses to ensure timely project delivery, and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders utilizing Jira and Jama.
