Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Manager in Morristown, New Jersey and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do
Manage information technology projects including development and implementation, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Manage technical teams to architect, build and deploy solutions. Manage and deliver components of engagements, within the full software development life cycle. Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Serve as a technical liaison between the business, project team and developers/testers; and work with IT infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications.
• 50% Travel required nationally.
• Telecommuting permitted.
• Work location includes various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Requirements
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:
• Utilizing Java, J2EE Application Development, J2EE Design Patterns, Java Server Pages (JSP), and Extensible Markup Language (XML) to lead information technology projects;
• Managing teams that participate in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures utilizing Microsoft (MS) Visio, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) for large scale implementations;
• Developing, maintaining, and managing project schedule and deliverables for clients using Jira Align, IBM Rational Team Concert (RTC), Rally (CA Agile Central), and IBM Rational ClearCase;
• Defining performance measures and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) based on stakeholders’ discussions, data, and trend analysis;
• Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyzing client requirements, and translating requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that satisfy client needs using SAFe 5.0 methodology;
• Managing business processes and driving customer requirements, scenario development, and technical implementation utilizing MS Visio;
• Leading development, testing and deployment, utilizing SAFe 5.0 methodology for large scale transformation programs; and
• Creating plans to mitigate risks and issues over the course of the project, and managing the scope using change management processes including SAFe 5.0 methodology.

Other
Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week.
