Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Consultant in Los Angeles, California and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You’ll Do
Drive software testing and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions in the insurance, financial services, healthcare, state and local government, telecom, and retail industries. Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities; understand business use cases and draft test cases that describe system requirements, entry criteria, and exit criteria. Define systems strategy, develop system requirements, design, prototype, and test custom technology solutions, and support system implementation. Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope, developing work plans for components of engagements, and coordinating activities between workstreams and identifying changes in scope. Research user reported issues, identify root causes and resolutions, implement fixes, and liaise between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams. Drive test estimation, test planning, test design, test execution, and test reporting as well as coordinate testing and test artifacts across all phases of testing.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:
Reviewing test cases and performing functional testing of Mainframe applications;
Performing testing of sub-components of larger application systems, integrating the applications with each other, and continuously optimizing the system structure to improve stability and performance, through use of System Integration Testing (SIT) and Jira;
Performing functional and integration testing for applications built in Mainframe, using Waterfall and Agile Scrum methodologies;
Conducting defect prevention meetings and tracking defects, by leveraging Jira and Agile methodology; and
Designing test plans and drafts, and executing test cases, using Mainframe and Automation and Provisioning for testing.

Annual Salary: $119,025.00 - $198,375.00.
