Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Consultant in Dallas, Texas and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You’ll Do
Drive software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; provide application analysis to meet software architecture and infrastructure goals. Define systems strategy, develop system requirements, design, prototype, and test custom technology solutions, and support system implementation. Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, and coordinate activities between workstreams and identify changes in scope. Provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling tools to produce analysis and algorithms that help businesses make better decisions. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.
• 50% Travel required nationally.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:
• Providing industry insight and analytical support using data cleansing, data mining, data visualization, and predictive modeling tools, including R and Python, and consolidating the implications to present recommendations to senior management and executives;
• Designing and implementing reporting and visualization for unstructured and structured data sets, utilizing Tableau, Power BI, and QlikView;
• Delivering Data Engineering including data pipelines and Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics solutions, utilizing Microsoft (MS) SQL Server, Presto, and Python;
• Developing, testing, and automating ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) procedures using Informatica, Alteryx, and Unix to perform data warehousing, governance, and data integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights;
• Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverables status to ensure timely project delivery and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders, utilizing Tableau, and PowerBI Dashboards;
• Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate functional and technical requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that fully meet client needs using MS Visio, and Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM);
• Working across multiple phases of the Agile lifecycle for the design, prototyping, development, testing and implementation of Data Governance and Data Analytics solutions; and
• Tracking development, implementation defects, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details, utilizing Atlassian Jira, and HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
