Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Consultant in Seattle, Washington and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You’ll Do
Drive software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; provide application analysis to meet software architecture and infrastructure goals. Define systems strategy, develop system requirements, design, prototype, and test custom technology solutions and support system implementation. Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, and coordinate activities between workstreams and identify changes in scope. Provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling tools to produce analyses and algorithms that help businesses make better decisions. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:
• Utilizing Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) and Apache Hadoop Framework to provide software advisory and implementation services for clients in the Life Sciences and Health Care industries;
• Designing sub-components of larger systems, integrating applications with each other, and continuously optimizing system structure, utilizing Microsoft (MS) SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Informatica PowerCenter;
• Researching user reported issues with software systems, identifying root causes and resolutions, and implementing fixes, by leveraging Teradata SQL Assistant, MS SQL Server Agent Job Monitoring, Zena, and Control-M Scheduler;
• Tracking implementation defects, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details, by employing Azure DevOps, Kanban, and Scrum Boards, Atlassian Jira, and ServiceNow;
• Utilizing Teradata BTEQ, Apache HiveQL, and TransactSQL (T-SQL) scripts to build, maintain, and deploy Relational Database and Data Warehouse based applications;
• Monitoring application server performance of MS SQL Server, Teradata in Data Lake, and Oracle;
• Working across all phases of the software development lifecycle to design, develop, test, and implement End-to-End (E2E) ETL solutions for enterprise-level clients; and
• Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate functional and technical requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that fully meet client needs, utilizing MS Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), and Mural.

Annual Salary: $138,174.00-$208,250.00
