Apply Today! **Job Summary and Qualifications** The Consulting Application Engineer position will lead efforts in conducting requirements sessions with multiple business partners within HCA. Responsibilities include documenting, designing and testing system implementations and launch support of solutions in our UCCE Telephony environment. As a Consulting Application Engineer, you will interface with our business partners to ensure their requirements are being met by gathering detailed requirements and supplying solutions in a timely and effective delivery mechanism. As a Consulting Application Engineer, you are tasked with providing the best solutions to our customers within the UCCE Telephony environment and ensuring the customers are using the technology provided in the best possible configuration. Performing detailed use case analysis, reporting metrics along with training and testing technology reviews are but some of the requirements in this role. **Responsibilities:** + Leads requirements gathering sessions, proactively drawing out requirements from stakeholders. + Performs gap analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement or management control of workflow. + Creates requirements definition documentation, including use cases, and functional specifications to capture business needs and for validation with the customer and shared with project stakeholders. + Creates workflow diagrams to document current and future business environment. + Identifies and resolves problems which may impact projects by monitoring progress and project status. Escalates important issues to the attention of Leadership so that decisions can be made promptly. + Responds and communicates efficiently and effectively between the Business, IT&S and QA teams on projects and to facilitate resolution of user issues as and when necessary. + Communicates in written, oral and presentation formats to best represent and express user and organizational requirements to audiences up to Senior Management. + Forms productive relationships with internal customers by listening, clarifying, and responding effectively. + Assists the business in defining scope and priorities for system initiatives (new projects and ongoing maintenance) **Basic Qualifications:** + Exceptional communication skills – written, presentation skills, etc. + Exceptional client handling skills – able to work with all levels within the client portfolio + Demonstrated ability to deliver business-oriented solutions + Able to successfully manage a varied workload with minimal intervention from Management + Thorough understanding of the UCCE Contact Center technology stack and available reporting metrics + Ability to conceptualize current requirements against future plans + Possesses the aptitude to quickly understand work processes and business flows across multiple business units and create business requirements based on those needs + Proven ability to support Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) and Change Management + Established project management skills including familiarity with project scheduling and tracking budgetary items + Seven or more years in an Application Engineering role supporting Contact Center technologies specifically related to Cisco telephony and unified communicaitons projects. **What qualifications you will need:** + Degree preferred HCA Healthcare has been recognized as one of the World's Most Ethical Companies® by the Ethisphere Institute more than ten times.
